After losing 7-3 at home to the Maple Tree in the cup last week, i don't think anyone would have predicted this result.
The foundations were laid with a battling 4-1 lead at halfway...all our wins were hard scraps...not least frame 4 that went to a re-rack due to a failure to agree on a foul snooker...
The Maple Tree pulled themselves back into the match by winning the next three frames to make it 4-4...but two battling wins at the end saw the match out...
FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON!!!!
The return match should be very interesting....looking forward to it already....
