It has been a long and hard-fought season in all divisions...well played to everyone, whoever you are....Division 1 has been won by The Eagles, unbeaten prior to the last game, but second still very much in the mix on the last day....Divisions 2 and 3 have been much closer....Div 2 winners and runners up still undecided before the last game, Div 3 winners decided, but runners up still in the mix too...it says a lot that there is still a lot to be decided on the last day of the season....proves that we have a very competitive league....Division 4 was arguably clearer cut,but no less competitive...
Credit to the new teams in the league, notably Plan B, and SE20's, who had a steep learning curve, but definitely improved during the season...look forward to seeing them again....
The Misfits and Another View made the top end of the division a real scrap....comiserations to the View boys....you fought hard, a shame that a couple of results let you down at the business end....
Finally, a thank you to all of the Penge Con Boys team... Danny Wordley, James Hills, Chris Bateman, Paul Panther, Adam Spears, Peter Brooks, Trevor Payne and Steve Izatt....you deserved it!!!
