Hi Guys,

As some of you may or may not know I am losing weight (5 stone) for charity.

The Charity web link is below. Primarily they are a charity that focuses on raising money in dis-advantaged communities across the globe and also depend on volunteers to pledge money and their time to these projects which are mainly aimed at helping children. The weight loss is the kick start and I aim to volunteer in one of these communities that I have raised the money for likely to be for a short period in early 2009.

www.crosscultural...

If you wish to sponsor me please drop me a message or leave a note on this forum.

I aim being ambitious and aiming to complete this by May 2008 at which point I will collect donations. So far people have chosen to either pledge per stone lost or as a total figure on completion of the task (either way is good for me)

Ok the facts
Starting weight - 18 stone 13 pounds (I may not look that big but believe me I wouldn't lie!)
Target weight - 13 stone 13 pounds

If you have any questions or want more information on the charity just drop me a line.

Thanks

Matt Palmer

Also as a result of Berty's generous offer Ted is sending out the food he cooked last night that Matt would have normally have eaten but did not due to his Atkins ways. The boeing 757 arrives at midday and is expected to be in Addis Ababa tomorrow morning. It is being hailed as the mostb positive development in that area since Live Aid.
