Rack pack 5-6 sports

Strange game tonight. Momentum kept swinging and it could have gone either way. Although there were a few we lost that we should've won, there were also a few we won that we should of lost so I think 6-5 either way was fair.

Cheers guyshandshake

Agreed. At 2 up we should of kicked on but like Ben said momentum swung and we found ourselves 3-2 down. Fortunate to level the tie when their guy went in off after potting the black. Again momentum went our way and at 5-4 up we hoped to get the last 2 to give us an outside chance of qualifying... we duly lost both, but no more than they deserved as they played a really good game.

It didn't help our cause knowing we had to win (and win big) against a really good team or that we have been the home team for both our Stage 2 games or that Rileys Snooker had been withdrawn from our group but that's the hand we were dealt.

I'm not sure what the benefit of winning our group was now... as there was none!

You're right it does take the P*ss. Even though we got the advantage of only one team losing out in the group, we definately took advantage of seeing your hand when picking the line up last night and have a massive advantage (like the loyalists) of knowing exactly what we need going into the last. I dont think there was any other way the comitee could of handled it though, Rileys snooker ruined what could have been an exiting final week.

However it pans out, there's no easy team waiting for the two qualifiers from group b!

was definitely a hard fought match against the rat pack last night! a quality team who id expect to win division 2 despite there recent blips. as ben said no team really took a grip on the match and it could have gone either way right until the end.top bunch of lads the rat pack & best of luck for the rest of the season.clapping
