The Cuemasters 6-5 The Warbank

Took a nice 4-1 lead, but to be pegged behind by 6-4, but well played to James Hill who took some pressure pots in the last frame.

Second session, we didn't take our chances but hey thats Div 1 for you.

Not sure if we will stay up, hopefully some results will go our way.

Well played the Cuemasters and great bunch of lads!!

8-3, the prop had as much chance of winning the league as Aaron does pulling tonight = 0

That's 5 first division wins on the spin for the Eagles and 7 out of the last 8.

That really is an awesome record and the way I saw you lot playing on Monday night against The Cuemasters (and thats no disrespect to the cuemasters either who also played fantastic pool that night!) I can't see why you cannot keep it going ......... Nice to see Eddie Taylor back in the team.

Lucky you Wink

MAGNUM FORCE 7-4 REFUGEES IN HAND

After going 2-0 down we were a bit low, then we won the next 4 on the spin - and managed to lose the next 2. So at 4-4 we needed to win the remaining 3 to stay up. Talk about pressure pool! The standard was pretty poor to be honest but we fought hard and managed to nick the last 3. Refugees were unlucky to go down with three teams on the same points, it was an epic battle that went right to the wire. Good luck to them in the future.

We didn't have Steve k, dray, or rod, so after your little digs mate we didn't have a team!

But I did try jacko winning 3/3!
Back to back singles winner, croydon's number 1, Farley open champ that's all butter wouldn't melt ...

Delighted for us!! One of my two favourite League tiltles. Been a bit lucky over the years to have a few but this is similar if not better to when we beat the Hotshots after they won the Champion of Champions. We still have the hunger, so wil be back up for the challenge ahead next year.

I heard a rumour that Aaron joined because he is a trophy hunter. Or maybe it wasn't him!!!!
