Firstly, this is a division 1 thread so please the boring posts about points etc from other players in lower divisions please stick to your own threads!

Secondly, we deserved the thrashing from the prop last night. They may well agree we should have taken a lead in the first set but missing dolly blacks and not taking out frames cost us!

The second set was just a comedy of errors from the whole team and as said above we deserved to get beat!

By the way great Jacko, when your reffing a match try not to make is obvious what ball your player should be take next time. Even one of your guys agreed it could be deemed coaching.. Oww I forgot just for you jacko. butter wouldn't melt ...

I do understand what your saying scott but as I said to Ian at the time the double didnt go so cant see how any kinda coaching could be implied when the shot woz not there to be had...as ref I took a stroll to geta better angle and while there check out whether said shot was a possibilitybutter wouldn't melt ...

Apologies for invading a Div 1 thread.

But why does the referee need to know whether a 'shot goes' or not?

Wow teach ava think,u need to guess wat shot there gona play so as ref u r not blindsided by them n any potential foul...u cant really move about once there cueing so one must 2nd guess there shot selection to gain the best vantage point ...u must b a gr8 ref me thinks?

Tony as a ref you place yourself in a position so as to gain a full view of the shot, but should you not be behind or at least out of line of sight of the player on point??wrong

yours is not to advise only observe then make judgement!!thumb

I bet you wasn't even wearing white gloves & a dickie bow tie either.

I doubt you stood with your hands crossed behind your back & called loudly & precisely so the watching crowd could hear your calls.

You clearly are are terrible ref, personally i think you should be banned from ever officiating again.

Although i will let the crossed hands behind your back go, as i know you have a bad shoulder & this may have caused you some discomfort, all the rest is inexcusable.

This is not just some local Croydon league for ametuer playes & officiating should be taken seriously mate.
I would rather be playing golf

I truly dont understand what you are trying to achieve in such posts. Its neither clever or funny, and just makes you look a bit stupid if I am honest. I'd suggest you refrain, its really boring.

Its a game of pool ffs.

Obviously you would, I guess that's what the prop is good at, hitting people when they get beat over a game of pool.

Rimbo

If you read the post again Jacko he said he should have hit you for chalking your cue in his face after he had correctly called a foul on you, not hit you because the prop lost a game of pool.
