Croydon cuesport challenge

rileys purley way
30th march
11:00am start
?10 entry
Entry fee to be paid in advance.
First 32 players only
drew to be done for 1st and 2nd sessions a week before event.
Tables on freeplay

match format::::

Each match is best of 3 sets
each set will either be:::
world rules pool(best of 7 frames)
9ball(best of 13 frames)
snooker(best of 3 frames)

when draw is done the first player drawn out of the 2 will pick a ball at random with a name of one of the 3 cuesports on it.
the 2 players then go and play that cuesport to the frame distance what has been stated.
when they finnish that set they come back and the second player will then pick one of the remaining balls with the other 2 cuesports in it.
If the match goes to 1-1 they then play the remaining cuesport which is left.

Sounds like a good craic, although I'd say the entry fee may put a few people off. . .

It's different though, makes a change.

I don't mean to piss on your parade Ian but I really don't see this taking off, especially with the entry fee so high and also, Rileys have their own version of this in the pipeline . .

As it's in it's infancy, do it as ?10 entry and you'll find those who don't play 9-ball and snooker doing it just for the craic . .

And your tenth player is RHYS Bowen. It's always good to get letters of a name in the right order when you're running a comp.
