The format for the group stage will be as follows:
R1 M1: Team A v Team B
R1 M2: Team C v Team D
R2 M1: Winner R1 M1 v Winner R1 M2 (winner wins group)
R2 M2: Loser R1 M1 v Loser R1 M2
R3 M1: Loser R2 M1 v Winner R2 M2 (winner is group runner-up)
All matches are best of 18 frames.
A 9-9 score in the group stage will result in a 1 frame playoff.

Practise tables have been booked at Spencers Sports Bar for Thurs 16th & Fri 17th April from 8pm. If there are enough bodies in attendance from the 2 squads then we could think about a winner takes all comp on 2 tables and 2 tables for practise.

I've received this info from Steve Pantony re this weekend and so for car travellers it maybe an idea to use the A12 route to Colchester, Ipswich,Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and give the A47 a wide berth.
