It wasn't us, we did have chances to win 9-2, but didn't take them, and as you expect got punished, so 7-4 (we had lost it at 2-3) to us even our 1 frame claimed frame (ahem!!!) didn't make a difference.

So did the Forum or Warbank get the 8 needed to stop the King Dishers winiing their first title????

The Warbank 7 - 4 Yer Mum

4-1 up in the first set playing some solid pool, but a few mistakes let them back in. I think from what Gary said we got runners up spot.

Last rumour I heard Forum were 4-4, so all things being truthful, the King Dishers have won... Fair play, and congratulations from the Foodlers....

Pleased for Steve and his merry men, and for the second time this evening, a pub team winning (after the Maple), perhaps its a trend!!!!

Thanks very much Guys.
We still can't believe we've won this title with soooo many 6-5's and sitting on the fence for the last match.
I've read somewhere here that we've all made some sort of history with 4 teams within striking distance.
Unlucky to those and thank you all very much for a very enjoyable Summer League.

And finally, big congratulations to our Natalie for winning this seasons Ladies KO comp.

See you all again shortly for this Winter League.

I havent played that much Div 1 pool in the summer in recent years, but I dont recall a title race being so close, for this many teams.

There has been regulalry two teams in with a shout going into the last week, and going back further the Hot Shots/Eagles/Prop and well before that Rosendale (Drillers) Bridge House Cheetahs/Eagles threesomes, but I cant remember their being 4 involved.

WOW ......

A real close call after Averages have been added

King Dishers 137 pts with 18 wins

Warbank 137 pts with 15 wins

Eagles 136 pts with 16 wins

Certainly could have gone anyway.

an exciting end to a fun season really
we could have won 11-0 and still lost which would've been gutting

glad the shenanigans with things didn't affect a good 4 horse race

well played the king dishers, much more wins then the other teams so deserved winners

My maths say that if you secured the other 4 points from us then you would have took the title

Tony, when you have a bye/s in a Division, the number of relegations is reduced accordingly. Therefore only one team suffered the humiliation of relegation from Division 1 - Goodfellas.
