Where did you play??

Result from the ladies singles:-

Sarah L 3 - 1 Paula T

Closer than the score suggests with me getting off to my usual slow start, losing the opener. Decent enough finish for me to level but frames 3 and 4 could both have easily gone the other way.

Lovely to meet Paula and I'm really grateful to her for help with hopefully getting the ladies interleague side off the ground.

Think something needs to be sorted with Langley sports club, maybe out of courtesy the home secretary could inform the away opponent of the problem n then either rearrange if the dart team is at home,it is very distracting to have so much human traffic around the table,i doubt the dart players would like it if they were getting bumped into at the hockey or had people moving about near the dart board while trying to throw.i understand it's the same for both players but it other ways it's not as mental strength to ignore it might be easier for some than for others, maybe play monday pool games early or not at all when darts is on is the answer? butter wouldn't melt ...

We had a cup game scheduled their a couple of weeks ago, and the captian arranged to play the game at our venue, so commonsense can prevail.

Also there is some sort of personal responsibility here, if you share a venue with another sport, you could alsways ask your captain when you are at the venue the week before for a Tuesday League game whats happening the week after, and organise things yourself. A contact list is available to all people not just secretaries.

And out of intereest what has Hockey got to do with this??

Its the reason we were hoping you'd turn up. Teams do seem to do better without you playing for them. Strange really.

You're registered to a team. That team has a Secretary. Therefore, you do have a Secretary!
