Chopper Squad 3 - Goodfellas 4

Nice to start the season with a win, although could have been better if it wasn't for the table being slower than a snail carrying heavy shopping and having more slopes than a ski resort. Still, it's nicer to moan about it after winning.
The stew that Simon served up for the teams cannot be faulted though, fantastic!

In all fairness, as soon as I saw what table the Choppers play on, I felt sick . . . The bottom table, located by the dartboards and the toilets is far from the best table in the C&H. But it's probably not as bad as the British Legion table in Addo and Division One players were forced to use that one, not forgetting the Legion themselves who had to play 50% of their games on it! No WONDER they went down . . . rolling eyes

All in all, the table maybe cost us one frame, that's all.

It's still a win and luckily we've now put that game behind us - will be interesting to see what the other teams make of it.

Billy = Star of the night for the Goodfellas. Played SO well. bow

Hence the legion are now playing from Suzy Q's along with 75 other teams!! It was rammed in Suzys last night.

Well done to Hannah though from turning it to a great place to play pool. May well be playing for a team down there in the summer Wink

Eight teams playing from Suzys now. With ten tables available and half the teams at home in any one week, still room for more!
