Chris Brooker & Steve Deegan beat the Mouncers of Langley Sports 2-0, The Huggetts beat Rob Cogar & Paul Whooley of the Goodfellas 2-1 and Dan 'Marks Nephew' White and I finally beat Jim Baylis & Scott Watson of the Waddon Wizards 2-0 (after their Secretary Chris told them I played from Thornton Heath and sent them there from about 800 yards down the road from Suzy's . . laughing )

Danny 'Tweak' Mason and Mark 'Raspberry' Stallard received a BYE as their opponents apparently had a 'falling out' over the weekend and are not allowed in the same building together, apparently! :box:hitting with a chairthreaten evil laugh

Nice commentary Lils. Apparently, that's one of the reasons there are so many misunderstandings on this site.

Hardly a commentary; more a sentence. But that's the beauty of the word . . .

It's the reason my team-mates got told they didn't have to play. Sorry if they were misinformed, but they must have got it from somewhere!

Then obviously I should apologise for not having made myself clear to your teammates.

I'm pretty sure they knew they weren't playing before you arrived, so they must have been informed of their 'bye' through someone else.

But never mind - two more of our players are through.

Hannah, your 'location' underneath your pretty picture of Dory seems to be 'Suzys Flozzies'.

What is a Flozzie? laughing
