warbank 4 - 3 flying machine.

an interesting game, could of gone either way, with us missing easy blacks, and them going in off on the black.
some good pool from both teams, and a little bit of luck, particularly in frame 4...what do you think Scorchio?

I think Scorchio is currently in mourning...from the Nugget having sent him packing in this years singles....

Yeah, a good win for us and as for Barrie well he must of walked through the cow fields on the way up here! So so lucky laughing

A good night as always with our local rivals!!

As for the singles no complaints from me. You play bad you lose simple as that really. Missing 2 simple blacks in the 2nd and 3rd frames after being 1-0 up you deserve to lose.

Many thanks to Keith for rearranging the game anyway. Wish him good luck in the next round.

Magnum Force 4 - 3 The Manor.

At 4-1 up, The Manor fought back well but we're still happy with the win.

Pond Q's 6 Farley Dukes 1 A very enjoyable game(for us at least). It was nice to see so many old friends from the Wheatsheaf. Good luck to them for the rest of the season. Bad luck to Grant who potted a very good black, only to go in off. Although this incident was relatively early ,it seemed to set the tone for the remainder of the match. Happy Days !!
