last night saw the final game this season between chris and phil,situation was as follows,chris was 9 points in front of phil going into the last game which meant that if phil wanted to win the league he would have to win at least 10 2,
phil then raced out of the blocks winning the 1st 6 frames punishing every mistake chris made,chris then managed to win the next frame to make it 6 1 but then phil won the next 3 to go 9 1 up with 2 frames to go,phil just needed 1 frame while chris needed both frames to win the league,phil had 1st chance to win but on this ocasion didnt take his chance which allowed chris to step in and take the match to the final game,winner wins the league.
chris broke off,potted a red but yellows looked lovely,chris couldnt pot yellow so decided to take reds,missed a cannon on the black so decided to try and put black safe.phil then had chance to clear up and potted ball after ball bot fell a little bit short for the black,tried to cut it along the cussion into the side pocket,rattled it but the white went up the other end of the table,hit one of chris s balls and went in off giving chris 2 shots,chris then went on to win the frame and so win the league by 1 point.well played phil,i must admit i did not enjoy that at all,roll on the next CSL.summer champs 2008

I knew that if I got off to a good start it might put Knocky under a bit of pressure with the winning post in sight. In the end I was gutted to come so close and miss out, I certainly should have won the 11th and had a chance in the last but over the whole season Chris has deserved to win it.
