Hurricanes 5 - 5 Slates

Went 2-0 down (we only had 4 players so were effectively 4-0 down). Huge credit to the lads for playing solid pool and getting a draw.

Awful night for me - lost both my games, including the last one that would actually have given us a 6-4 win!!

I think that gives Brian Clarke the Div 2 title pretty much - well played mate! applause

Well done to Forum last night, deserved the win.

We did well to claw back the last 3 games, as it was looking very grim for us at 1-6 down, especially as our only winning frame at that point came as a result of the opponent fouling as he potted the black, for what would have been a break & dish.

He did win on Tuesday but it does help when your oppenent leaves the black nicely over the pocket.

He has been consistant over the last two seasons, consistantly lucky. Grin
