Touch of Class 1 - 9 Untouchables
Started the year as we finished 2009 with a convincing win
Well played all of the untouchables tonight...............
unfortunately there was a bit of a bad taste left by the touch of classes secutary
as he would not postpone his game with Andy as he couldnt make the game from
Milton Keynes as he has Car problems and that showed in our performance because that spurred
us on to TOTALLY run riot on there Sorry Arses
Gamesmanships a bitch as the result proves...................
blue is the colour pool is the game!!!!!! |

forum B 1-9 view A same result as above but not played with the same atmosphere during the game? The Forum boys will consider themselves unlucky to be on the end of this scoreline. We took our chances and had that little bit of lucky it takes to win 9-1. Well played to our boys tonight as all the games were tight and we held our nerve to take the result. A good night was had by all. Good luck to the forum and see you at ours soon |

Sorry for not being there lads .... Great result spanking a touch of frost ,1-9 is a massive result but grant letting them off and gifting them a frame just shows sportsmanship from u , as for the sec game it's cool I no he was scared facing me yet I will not let that Hender me when they come down to us, just to say touch of frost don't b late or as u were going to do we will start docking frames ;-)

HAHAHAHAHAHA
Untouchables you aint considering most off games went to black ball, plus the fact that we only had 4 players meant that you got given two frames, stick that in your pipe fools.
If you do not like the rules then change the league you play in, you were lucky that we dint dock any frames as there was only two of you their by 8:15 and the others didnt turn up until 8:30.
Andy i aint scared of nobody if you had of beaten me when playing that fair enough but u soon quick enough to quote rules and play by them when suits u.
Try turning up to venues on time as this is not first time as others from the league will confirm and then we will beable start on time.
If u were unable to make it then u should have phoned me to ask about postponing match not got one of ur players to do so.
if we were that bad a sportsman then we would have docked frames and asked as u did to postpone games cause we didn't have a full team, and why if were that bad did two of ur players hang around after and play pool.
GET A LIFE YOU IDIOT
thanks for the game look forward to the rematch at urs,
P.S thanks to the guys who attended good game

not wanting to get to involved but untouchables had only two players at 8.15 against view a and the rest didnt arrive till gone 8.30 as well. Further compounded by us being good sports and not claiming games only for andy to moan we wont finish till late and forcing everyone to switch to the stop clock half way through the night.it pissed everyone off. Untouchables your good players but Sometimes you dont do yourselves any favours! |

I could be completely wrong here but yes games should start at 8:15pm but there is no such thing to claiming games until 8:30pm at which you can dock frames every 10 mins.
Meaning 8:40pm is the first frame that can be docked.
And i think that if no players turnt up by 8:40pm the whole match gets given ??
Again i could be way off but that is my understanding.... and if correct then i hope i cleared up this discussion about "docking frames" and in which case your welcome

If Carlsberg made pool players they would play like me.

You wouldn't be able to claim frames if 2 players were present. They would play their games and then if by the time the third game was due to start the others hadn't turned up you could start claiming games.
Having said that I think the ToC have only raised this in response to an accusation about the sportsmanship of their Secretary.
I have to say that I have never heard of a Secretary game being rearranged and if anyone asked me to rearrange it I would just let them have the point. My opinion is that the Secretary competition was worthwhile when a number of Secretaries were (mostly) non-playing members of the team, nowadays in Div 1 at least I think nearly all the Secretaries are regular players and it's a bit of a waste of time. |

fact xyz lol. i remember both teams laughing about slow players on both sides before the game and during, the only person who got the hump was you. As for the result untouchables won fair and square and it didnt change alot. See what you dont get is its not that the untouchables win. Its that there is a general feeling around the other teams in the league that every other week there is a post on the website of untouchables knocking either, a venue or a table or decision that didnt go your way or if the opposition dont do what you want. you would not think you win every week for all the moaning. From what i have seen from the teams in the league so far is that they are all based in the local boozer with players that drink there regularly. We are not division 1 There is not players that travel from all over london and england or practise 3 times a week, they walk down the road to there local have a beer and play some pool. Lighten up guys your probably win league anyway. |
