I received the Doubles/Plate draw with the individual Stats on the 14/01. The usual suspects look like they are on the sent to list.
Plate draw is:
HOME AWAY
1-OLLEY.Eric:Magnum Force v DANNEAU.Alan: Pond Wheatsheaf
1-VINCENT.Darren:Magnum Force v NANNERY.Gerry: Pond Wheatsheaf or GIBBS.Mark:The Oak
SPELLER.Kenny:The Oak
2-DEW.Billy :Jalfazi's Menu v DURLING.Adam:Forum 'A'
2-WHITE.Josh:Jalfazi's Menu v PHILLIPS.Paul:Forum 'A'
3-PANTONY.Martin:The Waddon Wizards v EVERITT.Adam:Rileys Cue Masters
3-WRIGHT.Christopher :The Waddon Wizards v EVERITT.Casey:Rileys Cue Masters
4-DAWKINS.Geron:Rileys Snooker v COOK.Richard: Patriots
4-GARDNER.Paul:Rileys Snooker v SHAW.Andy: Patriots
As for the presentation night, I'm pretty sure we received the email last year but a reminder closer to the time on the site would have been handy. I can't speak for the whole team but I would have thought that only Brian Clarke would have attended from our team. |

I got the individual stats on 14/1 too, but that email only had that Excel spreadsheet and no doubles draw. I also received the updated Venue List a minute later but, again, that was on its own.
My guess is that Mark sends the stuff out to more than one contact list and somehow omitted the Doubles attachment from one of the mailings. I bet you won't find either of my email addresses on your 'usual suspects' list or that of Phil Wates (as he's on my list and didn't get it either). |

Both email lists look the same, both your email addresses are in the doubles and individual mailing lists. |

Strange. It never turned up and, by the sound of it, there's a few who haven't got it. |

Paul, can you update the league table as week 7 still showing. I don't know if week 8 was emailed as I can't find it in my emails, cheers. |

If by "your team" you mean me, thats because i generally don't listen to my secreatary (sorry Daz). He does a great job and no doubt mentioned it to us all, but the point I was making on the other thread was that no matter what your secretary says or doesn't say, there should be something on the CDPL website saying when the presentation night is - no?
I'm sure he told me, but because there was nothing on this site i forgot all about it.
Not having a go at anyone in particular, I know we all have better things to do, but you can't blame the fact that nobody knew on the secretaries when there was no effort made by the committee to advertise it.
The reason I generally dont have to know what my secretary is going on about is because usually all of the fixtures and events are on this site and most of the stuff he prints off is available to me on here anyway. Well, not this time... |

Well I always remind my team what's happening and when. That is, after all, the main point of having a team Secretary.
(and no, I wasn't aiming it specifically at you. Brian was, as has been said, the only one of you who lost out on the trophy he'd won) |
