am going to start this as am not trying to mock the interleague, but the set-up could b made different ...
this is my opinion..
croydon should hold A-B-C trials....
div 1 players should try out for the A team as i think the strongest players are of course in this league
div 2 players should try out for B
and u could even put a croydon C team together made up of the other divs 3,4,5 as mark said at presentation there are around 650 players registered... it can also give lower div players a chance at improving there game .... if not then i think u could have a points system of players that have gone out there way turned up paid there money ... my point is that A and B seem to let players sign up yet didnt take the time out to turn up for the trials thats whats i beleive takes the piss .... i wish croydon interleague all the best and good luck to those who do turn up...i loved playing for them and the experenice u can gain playing better players is fantastic....stayontopic

I understand what you mean, however surely it would be unfair on the 1st division players who are unable to play 'A' team standard pool. If you restrict the B team to Division 2 players only, then you are stopping them from playing interleague all together. You must find a happy medium where you can have a combination of quality whilst at the same time planning for the future of Croydonpool.

However, in the meantime I feel that it is more important to boost Croydon's reputation and put the higher quality players on show for the rest of Sureey to see. Once this is achieved we can beging to work on pushing new talent through and progressing.

Tom seems to have inherited his pool playing ability from his dad and his intelligence from his mum. Good job it wasn't the other way round.

I'll take the intelligence as a compliment, not sure about the pool laughing
ol and would it be ok to get a post on here from people who are intending on coming to the trails, just to get a rough estimate on numbers??

My dads looked at the list of pecentages from last season and is currently deciding on around 9 or 10 players who won't have to re-trial. Leaving 5 or 6 spots to play for ...
This list will be up shortly, but obviously if you didn't play last year your going to have to trials as there's no 'wildcards' for the B team.

The following players have been picked for next years Croydon Squad due to their percentages last year and will not have to re-trial:

Kyle-Lee Picket
Hugh Telford
Nick Pool
Cliff Mills
Tom Telford
Graf Bishop
Mark Hartley-Miler
Leon Pope
Wayne Pope
Charles Burrows
Mick Saunders
Chris Knock
Ian David
Steve Aldridge
Lloyd Barnes

This leaves 8 places to trial for.

WOW..finished on 67% and still couldn't get in.crying

Croydon are going to be a very strong team this year!

Especially the new players that are going to trial.

Those places are going to be hard to get!

That's correct due to personal reasons I didnt play the last 3 games for Croydon last season. But those problems have been sorted and therefore wish to play again this season. If I need to retrial due the missed games from last season then this is not a problem.

Cheers...

Mr Telford I felt compelled to write to you and tell you how unhappy I am about the trials being on a Saturday surely you knew I work Saturdays. Having been in the Croydon team for 10 years previously including winning two man of the matches against Brighton and having won over a hundred croydon league trophies I am disgusted you are expecting me to trial, I will not be there on Saturday but you know where I am if you realize how much you need me
