The Warbank 5-5 Forum A

Well from 1-0 down, to going 3-1 up, but then we went 5-3 down, with us having two shots with open balls and still loosing the frames, absolutely rubbish, not taking away anything away from the Forum, but we did have our chances for a win this evening.

All the best to the Forum A and look forward to the return leg at theirs.

Jolly A 3 - 7 Patriots

Some excellent finishes by the Patriots made the difference tonight, but after getting back to 3-3 from 1-3 down we had chances too - a great black off 3 cushions from Graham Thompson in frame 8 was the key, especially as we had two yellows over pockets should he have missed
A good laugh tonight, cheers Gents!!

Not much to say - came from 2-0 down! Good to see Knocky back playing for them.

Only one game left of this half and the Eagles are looking ominous already. They have the Unpredictables, Cuesmasters at Patriots and Prop playing the Warbank next week. It is hard to see where they are going to slip up but the chasing pack will need some big wins and need to beat the eagles in the return fixture and probably hope they have a shocker along the line to bring them back in to it.

Forum A will need to full 10 - next week to make their survival bid look possible next week but even with that will still find themselves in the bottom 3 next week. Imps produced a decent 2nd set last night but they will need to produce 4 wins next half to stand a chance of staying up and whilst they have some good playes I do no think they are as good as the Forum who are also struggling. If the league finished today no one would really be surprised with the current standings in reality so some shocks will be need from this point on for it to finish any differently to what it is at the moment!

Eagles - 70
Prop - 64
Cuemasters - 63
Patriots - 59
HotShots - 58
Jolly - 55
Unpredictables - 51
Eden - 49
Warbank - 45
------------------------------------
Imps - 36
Forum - 35
Pot Luck - 3

Yeah totally agree. Was a good night on and off the table. Food was good too. Only just recovered from the alcohol consumption. All the best to the jolly boys.

well if you was to watch them you would probably see why! they all look like have just started playing pool this season so to be put in division 1 is a bit harsh on them but obviously there was reasons for this!
full credit to them tho they stick it out and turn up every week to give it ago! and i did hear one claimed the scalp on tony jackson the other week! laughing
