Early result: Casey Everitt (Cuemasters) beat Tony Jackson (Patriots) 3-1

A couple of break and dishes by Casey.

I'd say the prospect of an all Cuemaster final is 7-2 at best. Do you fancy a piece of that Berty?

I am still waiting for you to take me up on the ?50 for the Cuemasters to finish above the Eden?

Anyway I want to see the draw for the semi's before making a bet cos if they draw eachother its pointless if they don't draw each other I will have ?20 on it.

Edi and myself are both through our respective matches. Anyone know the results of the other 2 quarter finals?

Kyle Pickett bt me 3-2. Thoroughly enjoyed the match, even though I lost. Had chances to win the match but no complaints, and was nice to see Kyle and Wayne hang around for a chat afterwards, good luck to you Kyle hope you go on and win it.

Correct Kyle. The 'real' Boy Wonder ensures the Eden Cues are represented in the last 4.

Never realised you offered me a bet on the Poneyconeymasters finishing above the Eden. Guess I'm fortunate that opportunity past me by.

By the way, my price offer of 7-2 was before last nights remaining fixtures and as such is now not available. I'll happily give you a revised price if your boys don't draw oneanother.

On the other hand, I'll take ?50 with you that the Eden Boy Wonder takes out either Everett or Martyn in the semi's (should they be drawn).

What would you odds be on the 2 Cuemasters guys reaching the final if not drawn together?

I will take your ?50 bet that Casey or Gary would beat Barry if drawn together. When is the draw?

Cheers

Matt

If kept apart I would make Kyle and Casey favourites to reach the final, which would be very watchable as both as top attacking players. But you never know, upsets do happen, take Arsenal's latest triumph....NOT.

Come on the 'Pool bash up the gooners tomorrow, if we don't I will never hear the end of it from Mr Flynn...Grin

Pickett has been the favourite since the last 32 draw. Everett clearly is having a good first season in Div 1, and is very highly rated by all those I speak with. Gary Martyn & Barry Watkins both attack, so a good line up in the semi's. Without sounding that i'm being biased because one of my players is still in the hat, but Barry's overall game these days is so much more solid. He now has an excellent opportunity to make the final. I still believe that if one of the other three wants to win it, they will have to beat Kyle. On the other hand, Kyle is aware he won't have a better chance of claiming his first singles title and maybe last night's near stumble against you Grant was a sign he is feeling a bit tense as he draws closer to the big prize!

Not sure on the price yet. Once the draw is done, I'll have a proper think. But you are on for the ?50 bet in the semi's. Draw permitting.

Is the right answer.

All 4 have their merits, but Kyles level of experience at pool given his young age is massive in comparison to the others.

That said Gary could dish all day given his high level snooker background, I have never seen Casey play poorly when against us and Barry is obviously a talented young player.

Kyle is favourite for me but with this format ie best of 5, I wouldn put my house/flat/bungalow/shed/room on anyone.
House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
