Was indeed a 10-0 victory for the Legion tonight & i beleive that sees us through in second place behind the Cue Masters.
So who would have predicted that top 2 then ?????

WHY ? ? ? .........
Do you feel that you have something to prove ?
I know The Enmore to be a quality team so I fail to see how they were beaten to that degree at home !
I will have to say that this group has been quite laughable but not due to the fully fledged teams in it but the ones that are here to day and gone tomorrow, hence the uncertainty of the final score line.
I suppose it does leave a bitter taste for those teams who make the journey to an away game and get a good result and await a visiting teams arrival at their venue which does'nt happen. We've been the victim of this twice now and have to accept averages rather than what the score was or should have been.
1 bye and 2 averages does'nt really reflect the top 2 teams.
Anyways, good luck to the teams who do go through to stage 2. |

Don't hold me to this but if my maths is correct then the final score line should look something like this :-
Rileys Cue Masters 61
Foreign Legion 50
The Better halfs 44
Enmore social 28
Jalfrazi's menue 28
Even if I am a little inaccurate, I believe the top 2 will go through.

enjoyable evening down at the better halfs last night! a good bunch and some very nice food to nosh on during the interval!
i think when you go into the last game needing some sort of result it can always turn out to be a bit of a lottery! we struggled to get 4 players last night due the football(not sure if they call it that at the valley) a few people off with flu, work commitments ect but we knew our result would have some bearing on the group so went along and gave it our best shot and managed to come away with the win!
a few groups in the cup this year have been a lottery with teams pulling out and inevitably some teams will suffer more because of it!
anyway good luck to the better halves in the league and maybe we will see you in div one soon.
we may need a bigger boat..! |
