Fantastasic result for the untouchable, I didn't deserve to win the 2nd game, should have cleared up easily on the first game but missed a shot, perfect position on the next!!, Anyways perforamce goes to grant on his first match with a wonderful break and dish, well played to Danny 2/2 as well Andy 1/1, I need to up my game, tommorow! Unluckly to nelios, he was saying all day I should be dropped but hey he lost lol!

I think we're top of group A?? Which means The Eagles v The Propeller

Yep can confirm Eagles won 6-4 at the Farley.
Great craic with Paul "Dr. Doolittle" Picton and the lads.

So we win 3 out of 3 and come 2nd . . . Oh well.

Not bothered at all really, because if you are gonna win the cup, you have to face the big guns at some point. We were always gonna have either the Cuemasters or the Prop in our half of the quarters, two equally dangerous sides, so makes no odds who we play.

I fancy the Cuemasters to have a relatively straight forward route to the final now, and I favour who ever wins next weeks match between the Prop and ourselves to join them.

Just my opinion of course, but I think now that match distance is increased, I expect the division one top end teams to excel.

Rileys Rack Pack 4 v 6 Pond Wheatsheaf

At 4-2 up I was quietly confident and knew we had the personnel to take the win unfortunately it wasn't to be as they dug deep and pulled out some massive frames... At 5-4 the last frame was acadamic and a bit of an anti climax...

All credit to the Pond. Well deserved, good luck for the rest of the competition...

Well done to all our players who got this far, we did great to get to that position... Now lets knuckle in and win our league!

A great game which could have gone either way ! The match was played in an excellent spirit throughout ! Our opponents pulled out all the stops in an effort to defeat us ! 1. The match started on time. 2.They changed from their normal table. 3.They played their "best" five players twice and 4.They arranged for three lunatics to play on the next table which necessitated about 5 time-outs in each game. Despite this we prevailed in the end !! Good luck to our opponents for the remainder of the season, not that they need too much ! applause

Yeah it was a really enjoyable match last night, played in a relaxed atmosphere. Dr Doolittle provided most the entertainment for the evening, and if you ever have pet troubles you know where to find him!

well done to the jolly who probably deserved to qualify especially after remaining unbeaten and probably out playing both ourselves @ patriots in the group matches!

some interesting qf matches by the looks of it! does anyone know how the semi finals line up?

Sorry this post is a little late, been busy since Monday.

I also thought it was one of the best laughs on a pool nite for a very long time, there was no end to the barracking from both sides at almost everything bar the furniture!

The only down side came at the end of the evening, when you realise we dont meet that often!

Best of luck to the Eagles in the knock-out stages,

Regards
