Cuemasters 8-3 Untouchables

Eagles 8-6 Hot Shots

Ours was a strange game. 2-0 down in no time, could and perhaps should have been 4-0 but suddenly found ourselves 3-2 ahead and then were always in front. Untouchables are clearly a division one standard team, just missed a few chances tonight. We felt relieved to get through having not played our best.

God knows what was going on in our game. It could have been 8 (2 or 3)either way. Not much good stuff other than Krishanan who cleared up the stuff he had.

From aside and watching the other game the Untouchables seemed so content on not losing that they forgot how to win.

Id be suprised if the stuff they refused all night tonight, they didnt take out loads of times this year.

My opinion is worth about 2 packets of worthers but I do think the 2 most capable (= aggressive) teams are in the final, and if the last 3 games have anything to do with it, it will be a corker.

Just sorry I am not there

Congratulations to both the Cuemasters & Eagles on making it to the final. Which with both teams attacking styles has all the makings of an epic.

Serious chance for the Cuemasters with their current squad to lose that underachievers tag & take their first major piece of silverware. Ego's over the longer distance will be tough to beat, and will of course start favourites.

Massive congratulations to the Cuemasters for reaching the final a top achievement. I firmly believe that with the A squad out every week they would have won the league this year such is the quality in the side (to take nothing away from the Eagles who deserve it). I am really hoping to get down and watch the final as it should be a real epic as Power says.

Berty, are you including yourself in the A squad?

There is no way I am going to play in the final after having missed about the last 12 games!!! No seriously I want to come and watch mate but do not want to play unless you are short which I would sincerely hope you are not.

two interesting semis last night! credit must go to both the hot shots and the untouchables! i have never known a team lose so many top players and still be so competitive and last night they really could have won but just fell short at the final hurdle! who knows if they will be around next winter but they have certainly left there legacy without a doubt! the untouchables are a very good team ! i didnt know much about them but when you see there line up they will surely be a team to watch! very experienced and a good blend of attacking players! without question a division one team and will certainly dominate any division outside the 1st with the team they have! they had the momentum early in our match and we was very out of sorts but after some wasted chances by them we took advantage and never really looked back.

hopefully the final will live up to this epic alex has stated! it could well be if both teams play as they can ! but for sure we are serious underdogs over the longer format! the eagles are croydon legends and deserve the utmost respect for their achievments over the years so it will be tough! we have nothing to lose tho and will go into the match full of confidence!
