The Langley doing to us what we did to them first game of the season, good bunch & hats off to their sportsmanship for letting Lee play 2 games bact-to-back so he could go to work.
Again we turned up to an away match with 3 players. we did well just missed out on getting the draw. On to next week and maybe a full team. Good luck to The Better Halfs for the rest of the season.

Ship 7 - Dukes 3. A good time had by all and well won the Ship, at 7 nil down we feared the worst - started with me missing my finish in the opener and got worse from there - should have been 8 nil but methinks Linda felt sorry for us and let Martin off the hook. Hope Mark gets well soon, give him our regards, although if you keep winning without him will he get back in the team... Good luck for the rest of the season Shipmates
Ok, so here we go with week 10, The Langley Sports are finding form fast, and took us to our third defeat of the season, The Folly away to The Wizards couldn't make any ground on that 3rd spot and The Betters couldn't take advantage of a slightly under-manned Manor. The Jolly Sailor keep the Warriors firmly routed to the bottom of the table, and I have left the best till last, ...May God Bless The Ship & All Who Sail On Her, they did us a tremendous favor putting 7 on the card against a very in-form Duke squad! We all seem to need to look over our shoulders at the team behind, its getting ever closer at the top, middle, maybe The Warriors have the best of it not having to look at a chasing pack. Who knows, but what I do know is the scores in the retrun games at each venue is not gonna be the same twice!
