Cue Masters 6 Pond Q's 4

We were beaten by a side that held their nerve better than we did !! We put this down to travel sickness ! Spending more time driving than it takes to play the whole match is extremely demotivational !! We have to experience the joys of Lewisham five times during this season ! This is totally unacceptable ! Something has got to give !! wall

I'll say it once again they have to travel more times to Croydon than we do so it does not matter plus if we kicked teams out of the league based on where they play we would have even less teams in this diminishing league so just get on with it pat

Riley rack pack 7-6 better halfs

Shame someone had to lose this really was a well played match went 3-2 up good frames from chatty myself and Lloyd great break and dish from Danny kelihier against me thought he was their best player tonight.
5-3 down I thought we might of just rolled over but I saw something from the team that really impressed me Tolfrey and chatty held their nerve

Then we decided to go to play a 3man play off I got us of to a solid start Tolfrey was unlcky to not take out a difficult dish including a a very tricky black but chatty brought the goods home in the final one

Good luck to better halfs for the rest of the season

Trouble is Pat it keeps you up past your bedtime and you need your horlicks!

Wizards 3 - Dukes 6. A match played in good spirits, could have gone either way - at 3-1 down we were looking at an early return to the Farley, so to win 5 on the trot was great from our viewpoint.

Good luck to the Wizards for the rest of the season.

Forum 2 - 6 Eagles

Harsh timing on the Forum, as they had several of their players missing, including John Baylis and Tony Clarke who are big match players for them.

Paul done a good job getting the five lads together that he did.

We played some lovely stuff at times though, very happy to get through a very tricky tie.

Well said Faz.

As to the game, we scraped through despite some ropey performances from half the team. We have potentially a half decent side if we can get our act together.

The Lord Napier 6 - The Wandering Dogs 4

Well well well....what a night of pool was had....A very tight 1st half saw the Dogs take the lead 3-2 in some nail biting frames......Then the 2nd set began with the Lord's equailising and then taking the next 2 frames also taking it to 5-3....The Dogs pulled one back making it a cliff hanger in the last frame but the Lords took the frame to snatch the victory 6-4!! applause

Well done the Lords and unlucky for the Dogs.......violin

Supersav! applause

Legion 6 - 3 Magnum Force

Again only 3-2 down at half time so I think we need to work on our second halfs.
