Cuemasters 7 - 3 Eagles

After a few dodgy results we finally put some form together. Mark Eldridge opened up with a dish off a dry break. Then Gary Martyn and Ollie O'Boyle played out a scarppy game, both missing chances they would normally take, until Gary missed one too many and it was 1-1. John Little broke and dished against Shaggy. Then Andy Esgrove missed with two shots against me and I made it 3-1. Teach broke and dished the next. 4-1 at the break.
Shaggy was on for a clearance against Potterman but sportingly called a foul on himself which no one else had noticed and Darren prevailed. Mark lost a scrappy affair to Wiggy and then John pulled off his second break and dish of the night. Metin cleared off my dry break for 6-3 and in the last Teach won a tactical battle against Tom Telford.
My team told me off for just posting the score on here, hence the full report.

Gotta say, tremendous pool from the Cuemasters last night.

4 dishes against us was quite a brutal display. . . It was a tight game apart from those !!

Teach reminded me why I hated school....

I don't know. . . Let them win one cup competition, and they go mad.

We've created a monster Wink

Well done again guys.

Pond Q's 4 Unpredictables 6
A disgraceful abuse of our good-willed gesture to dispense with the clock. They bored us to death and the match ended around 11 o'clock !! They had all the luck in the world and still only scraped home. I missed the last seven games as I fell asleep !! If this is how to get to the top of the league,we could never lower our high moral standards for a moment of fame !! We will exact a terrible revenge on them in a few weeks time in the League Cup . Let there be no doubt. !! The clock is ticking !! wall

Hmmm I bet Gary and Gerry were running round the table like whippets. You're not called the Pond Snooze for nothing.
