Getting The Hang Of It

Thicket Tavern is closing in three weeks. The notice was put up yesterday.

Registration for the summer is due tomorrow, and I have a registration entry form completed (bar one regular's signature), and no cheque as the Thicket Tavern has declined my request to pay for the registration.

So are there any local venues to Anerley/Crystal Palace that would be interested in taking us as a second team, inclusive of paying for the registration?

I am making enquiries as to where our 12 April and 3rd May home games for the Winter will be played, and will advice the Manor and Penge Cons secretaries respectively, once this has been sorted out.

try the pawleyne arms...
i hear they are installing a new championship table at the back of the pub by popular demand... they're also putting in a seating area around the table, blacking out all the windows, removing all TV screens and putting in sound proofing...Wink

The Thomas Farley in Thornton Heath have a spare table, and its nearer to you than Croydon, Dave & Betty also pay the league fees. Pop in and say hello, i'm sure they will make you welcome.

On a side note, the table spare table at the Farley is available asap, so you could arrange the remainder of your games with Dave when signing up.
