Another exciting score draw. Overall it was just about a fair result. Good luck to our opponents for the remainder of the season. applause

Congratulations to the Eagles on clinching yet another title. As they say on Eggheads, who will beat you?

Looks like Unpredictables will snatch second.

We started off the season very strongly and at Christmas had all 12 at the venue and 10 different players. In the new year we have been a shadow of ourselves, losing games comfortably that we would have previously been expected to win, and drawing games against the teams we would normally hammer. This not suprisingly coincided with the loss of 3/4 experienced players.

The other teams appear to be getting stronger and unless we are at full strenghth with the players that now remain, are no longer the oustanding team in the league. I wouldn't be suprised if this was the lowest winning score since 10 frames were introduced and you got 20 points for free!

So after saying basically how rubbish we have been we have still won the league. Scary. I think there will be several teams in it at the death next year (Winter!), hopefully we can still keep up in our old age.
