Foreign Legion 4 - 6 The Better Halfs

A tough match all the way but we went into it knowing that we had to claim 3 frames asap to retain our number 1 spot and we managed to do that in the first set going 4 - 1 up. They knew that they had to win more than 1 frame to secure their position in 2nd spot or would have to settle for 3rd position.
Well done to the Legion for coming 2nd in the division and for being great apponents and hosts last night.

Yes Mr. Picton, it has been an extreamly long and hard winter season and especially with the weather conditions we've all had to endure. But we've all made it through to the end. Lets hope we can all have a nice relaxed summer season.

The Better Halfs have had a great winter season and I think a special mention should go out to a few of my team mates.

Andre - Overall ranking position No 1.
Andre & Rob - Winners of Doubles KO.
Andre & Danny - Joint div 2 divional singles winners.

We narrowly missed out by just 1 frame to go into the Semi finals of the League Cup But very well done to the Rack Pack.

And finally, me as the Secretary managing to secure the runners up spot in the Divisional Secretaries.
Very well done to Mark Harris for winning it.

All in All, a very very good season to The Mighty Better Halfs.

Cryptic. Would that be your new addition of Rod Altes by any chance?

There's always one who has to spoil things.... Mark.... Tut Tut!!! If you actually read Birdy's message carefully though, he does mention 'surprises' (plural). Who else could he possibly have? Now this website is really livening up!! lol

How very observant of you Mark. The cat's out of the bag now ! I guess Roddyboy was an easy one to sus because you've probably seen him appearing in the Singles KO draw.
As Teach says, it's plural, so you have 3 others to try and sus and these others don't appear in the singles and doubles draws, not as yet anyway.
Let me know when you think that you've guessed it and I will reply with all honesty. And no, German is'nt one of them.

Ha Ha Ha .........
I'm still lovin it lol.
The Saxtonater turned me down point blank.
Cyber The Crucifier had his shot with us but left of his own accord. Pressure I think.
As for Cliff .... well I'll leave that to your imagination !
I'll give you all a big clue,
They're all SELKENT boys rather than CRO.
Keep guessing.

I should've known Steve, the second I saw you down in Peckham Sunday!! Some of the SELKENT boys already play in Croydon...obviously youve already got Andre, i'd probably guess at Tony Gear?

Hiya Craig,
You're warm but not warm enough.
What I actually meant was that they all live within SELKENT and not Croydon.
Oh and bytheway, I wasn't at JFK's on Sunday for pouching but for a completely different reason.
Gosh .... what have I started here !
