Rileys Eden Eagles 5 Pond Q's 5
A very entertaining match and a fair result . We wanted to have a play-off but nobody knew whether it was just one game or three . I tried to ring Swetts for clarification but his mobile went straight to voicemail . They tried everything to beat us. They even turned the lights out at crucial points . They insisted on using the clock and the match was over at just past 9.30 ! At the end of the match their entire team left Croydon and headed for Purley Way in search of a decent pool table,no doubt. Good luck to our opponents for the remainder of the season,not that they need it !!  |

Booldmasters 9 foram 1
Second great result on the bonce for us, Eldridge junior was the unlucky one but will be forgiven for a very smart finsh in his first, our opponents looked a little out if sorts and some bad run of the ball did not help them,but we will take it when we can, only 3 weeks ago I was saying what a long hard season it was going to be for us , but i belive this rusult puts us top soooo maybe not as long as I thought!!! |
