We felt this was a game to put points on the board but fair play to the folly, they restricted us to 6 with a bit of gOod fortune. The good fortune being our inability to take out standard finishes!!!

result is fair, actually should of been more to them. we didn't turn up tonight at all. but still we had a good laugh with the slates. a pleasure to play them and always a good night whatever the result.

Dukes 6 - Maple Tree 4. Somewhat flattering result, with luck on our side by and large. Could easily have been 6-4 to the Maple. Excellent break/dish by Mark of the Maple against me in the opener, with 2/2 for him well played. Unlucky to Arthur H, could have won both his games.
Look forward to the return Speller, always a good laugh against the Maple.
