The Ship's first match win, and our first loss....we had a bare 5, including a junior making his debut (my son), so the odds were not exactly in our favour....the Ship only had 6 themselves, and probably the slight rub of the green...no complaints on that score - I get the feeling they have been short on luck recently, while it has favoured us, so maybe it evened up a touch...
It is always enjoyable to play the Ship team - we shared a table for a few years, so we all know each other, and get on well. Mentions for James Hills for 3/3, and also to Mark Spurway and Wayne Collier of the Ship for 2/2 each...look forward to the return!!!
