Warbank 12 – 11 Propeller
What a night it was nip and tuck all the way and at 2 a piece who would have predicted the final score as it went to 3 each.
It wasn’t greatest standard but managed to go 5 – 3 up and really should of raced into a 7 – 3 lead missing a straight black to go 6 and then adjacent game to be gifted 2 shots and go in off and hand back the initiative straight back at this point we wondered whether it was going to be our night at 5 apiece.
I won’t bore you with the remaining 10 frame action details but as you can guess it went to the wire forcing a three man playoff with the Warbank edging it 2 – 1.

Man of the match was Gary Swettenham with a 100% win rate (#Quality)

Well done Warbank took advantage of our many slip ups in what was a scrappy hard thought final which most finals are tbh...think if i was there in spirit n mind things may well of panned out differently as the lights where barely on n no1 was in...fair percentage from swetts but me,ricky n german gifted him 3 of them so man of the match is fair but maybe a tad generous, not sure how others played,Ian took out a solid dish against me n hersey took out a sublime dish against ricky in play off which was a surprise and made the difference...Proud of my boys for making the final in a season i was expecting to be a disaster...well done 1 n all in an exciting final...butter wouldn't melt ...
