The Eagles did go into a 5-0 lead and although Loyalists heads were somewhat dangling going into the 2nd set they dug deep to avoid a whitewash to bring the result back to 5-3. With the black hanging over the pocket after agonisingly rattling the pocket after I would say a fair attempt by moi taking it down cushion rail previous to ...... up stepped Aaron Taylor to execute a superb cut back on his last ball from distance to tap home the black and secure the match result for The Eagles. It should be the makings of a good final with The Cuemasters on March 23rd.

Eagles v Cue Masters
Arguably the best two teams in Croydon.

Predators v Forum in the plate.

Of course I can rule out the Prop. They ain't in the comp!!!!???

To be fair Danny, I did use the word "arguably", although the league stats kinda helped as well.

But you are right about the cue masters. They are definitely better off without an average player like myself... Although I'm looking forward to my game with Rod next week.... Only way to improve is to test myself against the better players....right?
