British Legion 3 - 4 Bloodhounds

I think both teams will agree that it was a very scrappy match. The black ball was potted with the white twice, and in the 5th frame one of our players inadvertedly potted the black with six of his balls still on the table.

However I was happy for it to be left up to me to see the match home for the hounds playing number seven. It's nice to now be winning these games that we would have lost earlier in the season!!applause

Bromley Cuemasters 3 - Magnum Force 4

Apart from one of their guys potting the black out of turn it was three quality finishes that nicked this one for us.

Also heard The Patriots won the other group game 4-3 against the other Cuemasters.

All credit to the Eden... Top commitment and spirit... Well deserved...

Us on the other hand don't deserve to be in the comp... I felt at times like we've robbed another team of a chance of being here in our place...

Difficult night for the Rack-Pack, who did not really play up to there best - And the turning point was in the 2nd frame when your guy had 2 on the black to make it 1-1, after he missed it we went from strength to stregnth & too complete control....

The opening match is always a huge chance to make a real impression on the 2nd stage & i guess both us & the egos have done just that - Big game next against the Addicts to secure a place in the last 8

Go on the eden dancing
