What time are the matches supposed to start? We're playing a pair at the Pawleyne tonight and would ideally like to be starting at 8.30.

No worries Sass, 8:30 will be fine.
I'll let the boys know.

Word of warning, there is 3 games down there tonight. . . So you may be the last on if you get there after the other two away pairings.

If that happens we will have to give them the win. I could only get a babysitter till 9.30 as my regular sitter is unwell.

Sorry if that happens.

They'll both be there early I think.
No worries, I'll have a word and make sure you can play your game before you have to go.

I know that walkovers leave a sour taste in the mouth but agreeing to postponements is discretional. If I can have you and your partners name then I won't rub salt in the wounds by fineing you as well as you have previously notified your opponents ogf the predicament (That being if they notify me that this match is being claimed as a Walkover Win)

Early result:

Steve Aldridge / Chris Eden 2 - 1 Barry Foley/ Leon Dupres

A competitive game which could have gone either way. But the teacher pulled the game out in the end!
