The Seamen 4-6 The Manor

Another bad night on deck....we obviously haven't found our sealegs....but we were as unlucky tonight as we were poor last week...after 6 frames a reaonable score would have been 4-2 to us, maybe even 5-1 up...no...4-2 down....4 black ball frames of which we lost 3 after having first crack at the black....frames 7 & 8 just made things worse....a couple of slightly misplaced shots followed by good clearances saw it shift to 6-2 down...good play in 9 & 10 gave wins to make it slightly respectable.

The saying is what goes around comes around, and all things even themselves out....IF that is true The Seamen will dish out some (probably undeserved) spankings later on this season....however a trip to the Flying Machine next week would not be the game of choice for that....this could be a long hard season....sigh

dont worry mate, we're still playin like a bunch of fannys.
warriors 6 - 4 flying machine.
5-5 would have been fairer after their guy fluked his black off two cushions in my second game.
and a couple of our games we did just gift on a plate.
but fair play to them, they took their chances.
hey ho
bring on the seamen

It was a close match throughout which could have either way. Well played last night and good luck for the rest of the season.thumb

We went 4-0 up and then no well played to mark and his boys for pulling it back.

Your not the first person to turn to homosexuality to cheer you up after a succession of loses Dogger. Berty did the same many years ago and has not stopped since.
