There's been quite a lot of discussion of late with regards to Interleague in Croydon and how both the A's and B's can progress . . The A's have had some recent success within Surrey and with the B's still in their early stages we have the potential to put a couple of decent sides out to compete both regionally and nationally . .
Here is a list of the current players playing Interleague for Croydon . . All you have to do is list your starting nine with three subs . .
Kyle Pickett
Mark Hartley-Miller
Nick Pool
Chris Knock
Mick Saunders
Paul Hailston
Adam Hewson
Gary Swettenham
Cliff Mills
Martyn Drinkwater
Wayne Pope
Sean Kelly
Charles Burrows
Steve Field
James Charlwood
Darren Porter
Barrie Allen
Michael Porter
Andrew Walters
Mick Huggins
Chris Eden
Francois Tertullien
Terry Poynter
Danny Evans
Steve Aldridge
Tom Jackman
Lloyd Barnes
Rab Harkness
Barry Watkins
Scott Harrison
In addition to this, if there's anyone you think would make the squad of 12 ahead of these then feel free to chip in . .

Mine would be, in no particular order:
Kyle Pickett
Wayne Pope
Mark Hartley-Miller
Cliff Mills
Sean Kelly (Captain)
Danny Evans
Steve Field
Nick Pool
Terry Poynter
Substitutes:
Scott Harrison
Paul Hailston
Tom Jackman
BUT . . . There are 6 people in my original 9 who would be replaced by Rod Altes, Tony Jackson, Graf Bishop, Paul Wildman, Andy Esgrove and Hughie Telford if they were eligible/able to play, so my named substitutes wouldn't figure, plus another 3. Sorry.
I personally see these as the 12 strongest one frame players in the C&DPL right now, though I am aware that due to personal reasons, some of these players are not necessarily able to play.

From the current squad of players:
1. Cliff Mills
2. Steve Field
3. Wayne Pope
4. Danny Evans
5. Sean Kelly
6. Chris Knock
7. Kyle Pickett
8. Mark Hartley-Miller
9. Gary Swettenham (Capt)
Subs (young gun bench):
1. Barry Watkins
2. James Charlwood
3. Tom Jackaman
Likewise, if available for selection: Wildman, Esgrove, Altes, and Jackson
would make my starting 9.
Other players to consider are: Leon Pope, Rob Gator, Hugh Telford, Graham Thompson, Chris Brooker, Clive Taylor, Scott Lansing, Phil Wates, Andy Shaw, Graf Bishop, Francois Tertullien, Dave Truan, Andy Bentley, Paul Richards, Steve Krishnan.
Imagine if Hot Shots players did not play for London. Likes of Halligan, Nigel Clarke, Ian Clarke available for selection.... |

True, but no harm in stating who would be a good addition to the squad as it stands.
Personally, compared to previous years, I actually found it quite difficult finding 12 players in that list who could compete with the likes of Tolworth at Interleague level. |

Not many teams in the UK that would compete with Tolworth at Interleague, let alone Croydon.
The talent at their disposal is vast to say the least.

True, but Croydon could get a 12 man team who could rival them if the relevant players weren't banned from Rileys/didn't hate each other/were interested. |

Bottom line is, Croydon are not far off having a formidable side if the powers that be pulled together and made it happen. |

As with Croydon there's always outside influences that prove detrimental to our chances . . If we had our best players playing we'd win it and do well in Yarmouth it's that simple . . It's a shame that will never happen . .

Its probably more inside influences. People wont play with other people, people want there mates to play, people dont like this venue, people dont like that landlord etc. Just general selfishness pretty much.
Should be able to be resolved easily enough, but never been confronted sufficiently. This was no different before this team evolved (or were hatched) by the way.
