Results from tonight:

Warbank 11-5 Better Halfs

On paper this looks like a thrashing, but look a little deeper....

Warbank - historically a 1st Div team, bags of experience, been together a long time...

Better Halfs - fairly new into the league, a few of them played for the Flippers a while back....

Make no mistake - the Better Halfs team acquitted themselves VERY well tonight, and a few of their players were genuinely upset at losing.

The quality of pool I saw from both sides was of a very good standard, and IMO, all that let the Halfs down was their lack of big match experience.

Their chance WILL come again....

Farley Eden 11-9 The Jolly

Eden took an early lead, and looked to be cruising at 5-0 up...but Chris Bensalem's team have taken on his trait of never knowing when they are beaten....5-0 became 6-2, which then went to 8-4.....even at 10-6 they kept battling....

The final will be interesting.....

Yeah well played to the Better Halfs applause

They have good players in their side and that does include the men laughing

As for the Eden we are going to bash Fieldsy & Clan up! :box:

5 up, 7-1 up and then we took our feet off the gas and started thinking of being at home in time for News at Ten. In all fairness, if we had taken the frame winning chances we created from 7-1 up the scoreline would not have flattered the Jolly, but credit to them for sticking at the task.

Final v Warbank. Been a few years since we met.

Scorchio to add to his growing collection of B final trophies this time by taking home a nice shiny runners-up one..........

Farley eden 11-9 the jolly

We almost made the mother of all comebacks but a crucial mistake at 10-9 cost us a chance for the decider. Well played to the eden and it should be a good final depending on which warbank turn up that night.clapping
