The Seamen 1-9 The Warriors
NOT A GOOD NIGHT!!!!
F**k, s**t, b******s, w**k, b******s, etc.....
They say the luck evens out over a season....I disagree...as we have for most of the season had very little, especially tonight. The individual frames were very close for the most part, but it just didn't happen for us. The warriors even had the cheek to ask us to do them a favour next week when we play the imps....met with the instant retort "Why? You didn't do us any tonight!"
Looks like we'll need the bye in the last game to have a chance of staying up!!!! |

Imperials 5 -5 Flying Machine.
With our 3rd 5 all draw in 3 weeks, and the Warriors winning 9-1 tonight, the pressure is ever mounting on the title race. The gap is reduced to just 3 points, and with the Warriors having their buy next week, its looking a bit pear shaped for us unless we get good wins in the last couple of games.
Still, no one can win the league without a fight and the Imps are definately up for just that. |

Would you expect the team you are playing to take pity if you are losing heavily? You shouldn't be expecting favours from the team you are playing and the Warriors asking a favour of you next week shows respect- if they thought you weren't capable of beating the Imps then they wouldn't ask.
Chin-up, there's always next week.

Alright, we are under presure. Can we deal with it. Lets see. Even with the freak result at the Seamen and a bye for the Worriors this Tuesday. IT AIN'T OVER YET. Come on the IMPS Good luck to all involved.

Barring freak results elsewhere we are out of the running. Weve done well but looking back there are many frames that we threw away. Uphill struggle now for the Imperials. Even if they get big wins in the last 2 matches i cant see the Warriors slipping up. Good luck to both though - whoever wins its very well deserved. Enjoyed this season, good matches against very evenly matched teams. |
