With the current summer league rules being introduced for the forthcoming winter league, its time for a new poll.

Who will win the Summer Knock Out cup to be held at the Farley on 8th October?

And who will win the Winter League under the new format?
Will a new look Hotshots team be in with a sniff or will they become yesterdays news? Smile

Mr Evens . . snigger

I can't see how a team at the top of Division One can possibly be underdogs against a Division Five team, regardless of where the players originate.

The Rack Pack contain the majority of the Eagles Winter League Champion team, so surely they would have been favourites to lift this title for the Summer season? But they're out.

CCHP consists of 2 Eagles players (1 of which hasn't played since before the Quarter Final), 2 Prop players (1 of which has played in ONE match all season), 2 Warbank players, 1 Legion player and 2 Coney Cues players. Oh, and Rocket, who doesn't really belong anywhere because no-one really wants him due to liability reasons. And some further randoms who were signed up.

The Unpredictables have to go into the game as favourites. Although there will be a neutral Referee which may hurt their chances somewhat . . . Wink

If the CCHP turn out their best 5 possible then its going to be close. I don't think anyone can stop an Unpredictables double now. Its about to be written in CPDL history....

The Unpredictables will start as firm favourites playing as the newly crowned League Champions and with a much stronger squad . . At least five of our squad will be experiencing a cup final for the first time so anything can happen . .

Had it have been a Winter League final then we'd be nailed on for it but seeing as it's only the Summer League I'm sure anything can and will happen . .

Pretty much . . I don't expect us to take much out of it other than giving some of the lads their first taste of a final . .

If the Chicken team that played us in the semi are all available and Danny on top, then in my opinion they will win comfortably.

The Unpredictables are playing with extreme confidence, but if you picked the best five of both teams, then you would be picking Evans, Pickett, Pope x 2 + Graf.

Unpreds to be outgunned IMHO.
