Waddon Wizard 5 Rileys Snooker 5

Late arrival By rileys snooker 8.40 first frame claimed by Wizards.
With a lack in performance went 3-2 down then losing the next two went 5-2 down
Rileys snooker failed to secure the win in the next two frames, Thay then made a time foul
in the final frame when attempting a clearance, to hand us the draw.

What a night.

In the 6 years of playing pool in this league, I have never heard of a team claiming frames. What a bunch of cun.ts, they play out of lewisham for fuc.k sake it's not exactly round the corner is it swear
WHY SO SERIOUS?

Its true its not just around the corner, Thay could have rang and said thay where runing late that would have been fine,
thay could of set off sooner that would have been fine.
i dont make the rules just report the match, its the same distance for us to go to them if we turn up late on the return thay can claim it back. START TIME 8.15 NOT TWO 2 PLAYERS 8.40

The point is they wouldn't because they would understand how far you have to come to play them and there not a bunch of cun.ts.

Ok... On a much lighter pool related result...

Rileys Rack Pack won 7-3 against The Goodfellas.

As always great night full of banter and laughs from both teams with the game played in good spirit...

See you down at ours!

flying machine 4 - 6 coach and horses.

awful. it was like non of us were insterested in pool last night. they turned up with 4 players as well giving us 2 of our 4 games.
shocking.
tbh i think its the pub. i hate that place i really do. I apologise to the c&h for the fact it was like a f***ing creche in there, toys all over the pub, 3 year old kids running round the pool table and around the pub gone 9pm at night with their chavy parents boozed up. we need to get out of there it is embarrassing. so, apologise to anyone who has to play at ours over the next half of the season. I probably won't be there in the summer.

Don't want to get involved with the claiming games thing but Blockapocket, did you say they had two players there before 8:40, or their first two didnt show up till gone 8:40?

Jalfrazis Menu 3 Pond Wheatsheaf 7 Good game played in a friendly spirit throughout !! Fortunately there was no necessity to claim any frames, which tends to ensure a far more convivial atmosphere !! Good Luck to our opponents for the remainder of the season !! applause

Dogger. Only two players arrived at 8.40 a short team after that. and there sec after 9.00 with the rest.
I would have been happy to start when ever playing on the clock, as we both know the frames go fairly quick.
But as a team its the secretarys decision to claim first frame
If every body turns up on time no fuss on mess. if your runing late let us know. thats it.

I play pool on a Tuesday because I enjoy having a few drinks with my team (and the other team). I also like to play the game and want (need lol) to improve my game.

Where does claiming frames fit in to this?

Thats like when we awarded another team (you know who you are) a re-rack and two shots because the balls were racked with a yellow at the front instead of a red. Same pattern, colours reversed. Fcuking petty. Spoils the fun.

30 seconds.

MD - that's not a foul break. Demand a rematch.

Claiming frames may be within the letter of the law, but it's not in the spirit of the game.

who the hell called a foul and re-rack on that mate?!

its exactly what you said, a night to have a few drinks, play the game and have a good evening. we always turn up late, and no one has claimed a frame off us... yet...

The W Wizzards for starters.
We even do if the general feeling of the play is slow.
