I am guessing the Propeller will take that as you are not showing up then in Week 22......

I now hear that your match next week is being played on TWO tables? Are you just plain mad Teach or have you let Sir Tony and his Egotistic team members get a rather large big one over on you? Sir Tony is called Sir Tony for a reason you know. I would hazard a good bet that your ticket to go and see Phil Taylor last night was COURTESY of Sir Tony? It is quite clear that Sir Tony has you in his pocket and on his when we like regardless of who it may effect.[/quote] seeing as I am never talking to this man again can somebody tell him that Sir Tony didn't cancel the game and if given the choice probably would have said Sir Tony didn't want the game cancelled, but as his team is full of darts groupies succoumbed to their wishes, can you also tell him that no one in our team thought we were trying to gain an unfair advantage, can you also tell him that when trying to win the league we will not try and drop points and can you please reiterate what a fcuking hippocrite this cocck who begged me to rearrange a game at the end of last year is.

Today I have been very emotional as the Power has obviously taken the p1ss,if any body in the league has been upset by my comments I appologize. I did say I would never talk to him again but bearing in mind he is called the power I will give him one last chance Selhurst boxing club 3 rounds for the nspcc any day in June. Alex fancy it.

Do you know what, I had to read this post 10 times to finally realise Longshanks was not talking about me! I'd never leave anyone feeling gutted. Well, apart from Berty of course.

so do you fancy the boxing match ( i am older than you and completely unfit) we could raise a fortune for charity as every body in the league would like to see both of us bashed up. And no hard feelings afterwards

this rate the power (grrr) will end up in the hospital bed next to me...!

power (grrr) can you actually read properly?
we all understand the point your trying to make but you obviously don't seem to understand the situation. so read this sumary once more;

because of the darts our league match on the 21st we scheduled for monday 20th (which would in your opinion given you and the prop an advantage)
get it so far?

i then arranged my operation for the 21st and i know others then made plans themselves for the 21st.
still with us at this point

then the league cup qf date was changed from the 27th to the 20th and hence we then had to re-schedule the league match sometime before next tuesday.
penny dropped yet?

your accusing us of bad sportmanship which clearly isn't the case.

so again in summary your wrong

unless your really fcuking stupid you would have now realised this but i can understand you not wanting to admit it and appologise online in front of everyone.

i know you will post something as you always want to have the last say (don't we all) but please read my post and think about it first.

if you still can't understand what went on then please get in touch with me an i'd be more than happy to meet up with you and discuss it

Anyone who has to go to hospital, let alone spend time there because their thumb hurts is far too hard for me and I couldn't possibly cramp their style by sharing a bed next to them.

In response to your post Andy:

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you know ONE MONTH ago that you the match was going to be cancelled. In fact, didn't Teach confirm that in a previous post. I would have thought between you could have found a date within 30 days of the 21st April. Either that, or why not cancel the QF match? Not quite sure where you are coming from with the fixture schedule. My intial fixture schedule sent to me on 20th September 2008 by Mark, states the QF is to be held on 20/4/09.

And where in anyone of my posts have I said it is 'bad sportsmanship'? Clearly these are your words, and we can only presume these are your thoughts!

The problem with you Andy, is that you are such a numpty it is bearly worth the effort having a sensible democratic conversation with you because its always about YOU. You, you, you, you, you.....

The first sentence in my post was equivocal.

At least this thread has got some interest back in the site. The match is now being played at 7.00 next Tuesday in Thornton Heath. The Egos then have to play the Unpredictables at Rileys. They will be pushed for time even on two tables, so this definitely doesn't give them any advantage over the Prop.

Alex has perhaps raised a valid point about whether the reason for the cancellation was justifiable but he could have said that in one sentence instead of 363. But the two teams agreed it and so did Mark Halsey, so that's that.

Nuttmeg, sounds interesting. I do fancy a couple of warm up bouts first. Was thinking about Andy Esgrove for starters, when his thumb is better of course. Then maybe Dotcom.

I'll speak to my old management team when I was boxing at England schoolboy international level and see if they can get me back into shape at me old club, Repton Boys Club in the East End. We'll see what we can sort out.

this is the fixture list that all 5 divisions got; http://www.croydo...relist.pdf
one month ago we didn't know about the league cup qf date change that only came about a week before.
we all thought we had a spare monday on the 20th and it made sense to do it a day before the intended league match so it was planned then!

how thick are you? your very first post on the subject said

"I have one word for it.

GAMESMANSHIP."

gamesmanship/sportsmanship same difference!

now your starting to insult me just cos you haven't got the guts to admit your off the mark this time... i thought you were better than that, i appologise for being wrong, sorry

I don't think anyone has questioned whether the two teams agreed it, or whether Mark rubber stamped it. What Mark agrees is down to him and its done and dusted.

The point I think that had to be made was this. The reason and timing of the cancellation with the season on a knife edge at the top and bottom was wrong. The lack of or no notice to the other it would effect was wrong. We have rules for a reason.
