I lost to Lloyd 7-5!

Felt I was cruising at 3-0 and 4-2 up, then Lloyd came back with 5 straight frames, playing some of the best pool I've seen him play for a long time. With a good clearance I took the last.

As Hugh said to me last night - welcome to the premier league!

Knocky - I think Mark normally posts the results and tables on here by about lunchtime!

I lost 12-0 to Mark Miller. My head wasnt there and i never got into the game. Mark was playing very well, i think he missed 2 shots in 12 frames. Well play, Mark, deserved all 12.

What happened to Mark Stallard? That was a surprise result.

Mark Miller must be a very firm favourite for Div 1. I know that Hoy will start favourite for Div 2 but Peter Knight is a decent player, so that could Div may be closer than some may think. Shame Truey missed out on a place - would have made it even tighter in the bottom league.

6-6 with Francois last night. If I could pot a ball off the break I might have won. Fran had a black he should have got for 6-4, I pinched that and the next. Never more than a frame between us so a fair result, same as CSL III.

I think a draw would have been a fair result in my game with Lee but the table we played on wasn't breaking very well so we had a lot of long drawn out games. wall

Enjoyable night out as always. Smile

I was proper rough last night and it affected me more than I expected it to. Paul played well and duly capitalised on my many mistakes.

Sorry if my constant coughing put anyone off. And if you've caught my cold I'm even more sorry!!!

It was a combination of Mick playing very well and me playing some of the worst pool I have experienced for some time. I had plenty of chances to take frames but couldn't use them effectively, making lots of stupid mistakes. Mick, on the other hand, took all the chances I left him and totally deserved the win.

It's a temporary glitch. I'll be back next week - and after all, I'm only playing Darren...
