Jolly 5-5 Cuemasters

We were 4-1 down so pleased to escape with a draw.

Patriots 5-5 The Warbank

An evening of draws in this group tonight, we were also 4-1 down in the first set, but some solid play and some lady luck going our side for a change, which took us the draw.

Magnum Force 7 - 3 Farley Loyalists

Enjoyable night played in good humour, I imagine the loyalists boys will be a tougher proposition in league tonight.

Hopefully the eagles have done us a favour so we can go into the last game with something to play for.

Eagles 6 Untouchables 4

Unknown quantity to myself, as I only know a couple of thier players, and have to say, was very impressed.
It's easy to see why they're romping thier league, and they will consider themselves unlucky after leveling the match from being 4-1 down.

We managed to get over the line though with a vintage Nuttmeg performance which he dug up from the archives.

All to play for on the 12th then, and it's hard to call.

Eagles 13
Untouchables 11
Magnum Force 10
Loyalists 6

Untouchables at home, and only needing a draw to guarantee a quarter final place will be favourites, however, Magnum Force have destiny in thier own hands which is all they could ask for after the first week.

Prop 7-3 Rack Pack

Rack Pack matched us in the first 6 frames, and then kinda fell away at the end. We were all a bit miffed that Ray didn't play the second set - I guess squad rotation is important but so are the points. Any thoughts?

Pond Wheatsheaf 6 Eden Cues 4 An enjoyable match which was generally played in a good spirit . Most of the noise in the hall was coming from the Prop's game against the Rack Pack. Strange to play against the Eden without the famous "Roar" being heard at regular intervals . Bit of controversy in the last game which had to be re-racked ! Garry smashed up the balls so hard that nobody could be certain on the legality of the shot !! He won the second game with a dish after Power did a great break but unfortunately went in off !! Nevertheless a win is a win and a draw in our last game will be sufficient to qualify for the quarter-finals . Good luck to our opponents for the remainder of the season !! applause Onwards and Upwards !!

Not clinical enough last night when presented with some good frame winning chances. Over the two group matches against our 2nd division opponents we chucked away 6 frames over both the matches. Nothing you can take away from the Pond & Rack Pack as they deserve their play off game in a few weeks for that other QF spot.

Our focus even before the 2nd stages has been to ensure survival in the top flight, something which has become a regular occurence in past four seasons. We have a big squad of players but have struggled terribly all season to all turn out together at the same time and our squad for both 2nd group matches lacked some key players. Its been tough on the lads who are turning up weekly and credit to them for giving it 100%. Plenty of Eden fight needed between now and end of season.

Well played from both teams Untouchables and Eagles, Your right we have a home advantage next but you have 2 points ahead of us, So I reckon it's 50/50 for Untouchables or Eagles to finish top...

Anyways, Just to ask a question. On the PDF file it says the league cup is on 5th of April and on the league cup PDF file it says the league cup is on the 12th of April, So which one is correct.? I assume it's the 12th but just to clarify it.

Good luck for the final league cup matches on Group A.

It's very funny how dotcom drove all the way from MK 60 miles infact just for 1 shot lolol.
