The PATRIOTS 6-4 THE JOLLY
Could have had a draw but well done to them on a scrappy night of pool.

Special mention to ladies champ Katie Henrick who ended the match with a break and dish. |

Great result for us being 2-0 down before the start of the match.
It's a funny old game. |

slight difference Mr Fish I never lied about our score!!
Just mearly put a question mark for both teams.
Actually believed the result as I was surprised Mr Whippy won a game and didn't melt as usual. |

eagles confirmed as champions! mmm at the bottom well hard to see the warbank getting the result they need against the prop to take them above the eden! but then who knows! good luck anyway.

I accept we start as big favourites, but will be taking zero for granted.
The Unpredictables "Beat" the Prop last week 5-3 on the night, with Gary having the two BYE frames. Tonight they will be back to full strength, and they are on thier home table, so nothing is done and dusted.
Elsewhere, the Imperials mathmatically can escape the drop, but that relies on a 20-0 swing in thier favour, them winning 10 at the Hotshots, coupled with the Eden losing 10 to the Jolly, AND the Warbank getting 3 or less. . .
So it's goodbye to Martyn and co.
Lovely guys, who I'm certain will be promoted in 12 months time.
The Warbank also need some divine inspiration if they are to stay up, although at least they have good reason for hope.
If they can pull off a big win at home vs The Prop, which they are more than capable, and couple that with the fact the Eden are away at one of the hardest venues in the league, then funnier things in sport have happened.
Which ever team goes, it's indicitive of the strength of our league, as they're both good teams.
Forum A technically can still get dragged into it, but when you bear in mind they're away vs Pot Luck, then you can quickly scrap any thoughts of doom for them.
Bringing me to Pot Luck.
I have nothing but pure admiration for the guys from Frith Road.
Thrown in at the very deepest end at the very last minute due to the Bloodhounds folding, they would have been forgiven for calling it a day after the first few weeks, as many other new teams have since done (See Division 5)
To travel to every away match, and to complete all 22 league games, despite the knowledge that they will probably get spun over and torn a new one (They have won 6 frames all season) is, what Jim Bowen would class as Super, Smashing, Great.
They're a credit to our league, and I hope they take valuable lessons forward to next season to which ever division they begin in, and I wish them every success for the future (Except when we play them in the cups of course ;-) )

Is the AJ Hayles trophy in the winter league or only the summer? Because they deserve it. |

The only place for that trophy is in the bin.
Of course, you can retrieve it Dogger and we'll call you the garbagepicker.
