What's the craic??

Last week of the summer league, yet there's zero banter on here . . . You lot have changed.

Division 1:
With the Hotshots deduction of 4 points, it means there's just a single point seperating them and the 2nd placed Prop.
Hot Shots are at home vs. Forum A, whilst The Prop are at the Bloodhounds.
I think they'll both get 6-4's leaving the Hot Shots Champions.

At the other end, Riley's Snooker look doomed. . . The Jolly are set to join them, unless they can pull a 7+ home win vs. relegation rivals The Rack Pack.

Division 2:
Riley's Eden Knights are already champions.
Whilst almost unrecognisable to the Eden teams I have known and loved down the years, it is still quite an appropriate way to bring the curtain down on a truely great pool team dynasty. I have a sneaky we may not have seen the last of an Eden team, so I cling to the hope of seeing them roaring again sooner rather than later.
Congrats to Farron and the lads, well played this summer.

At the other end, it's an equally emotional goodbye to the Imperials. However, these lads are still playing, survivng as players of fortune. If you have a pool team, if no-one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you could hire. . . . . The Imp Team.

In between.... Who cares ??? Let's get drunk.

Division 3:
The Loyalists are red hot favourites to take the title from stable mates The Dukes.
At the other end the Warriors have secured the spoon in style, Only Division 5's "Pot Noodle" have less points.
The Manor need a lot of help from the champions in waiting if they're to avoid the drop.

Division4:
Similar to division 1, the title race in Division 4 sees just a single point seperating The Untouchables and See You Next Tuesday.
SYNT have home advantage, but on paper, a tougher game than the Untouchables, who are away.
The wire is calling.
Waddon Misfits vs. Forum B at the other end is a battle of pride. The loser finishes bottom, however, they'll both be seeing eachother in Division 5 next summer.

Division 5:
Stelfs have a night of leisure ahead.
Away to thier closest rivals View A, even if they were whitewashed they still pick the title up.
So I predict beers and pats on the back all round in celebration of a job well done.
Pot Noodle finish last but certainly not least, as it underlines the importance of every team from the top to the bottom of the CDPL, that makes this league as strong as what it is.

Bonjour.

Apparently Hotshots are definitely getting two of those points back. If this is the case, then surely the league table should be updated before the final round of matches commence.......???

At the top of Div 1, Hot Shots I believe won 8-2 making them champions. Patriots won 8-2 and last I heard the Prop were 5-3 up which by my reckoning means the Patriots pip them to the runners up spot.
