I was looking at the paperwork that came through for the Summer League and there looks to be enough potential late entries to form another division? Just wondered how many of these have actually sent their money in.

There are some very strange names amongst the new teams in the summer league . From a biological point of view,it is physically impossible for a chicken to crouch as it doesn't have knees !! (A simple validation of this statement is possible by the inspection of a drumstick ). I wonder what idiot could have come up with such a misleading name !! laughinglaughinglaughing

Early days young Evans, early days !! By reducing the overall size of teams to five a side, you have created the potential for double the number of teams using the same amount of players !! That certainly isn't rocket science !! Nobody has yet tried to play 11 games within the 3 and 3/4 hour timescale. We would like to keep the league on just a Tuesday night. Nobody wants to encroach into Wednesday morning !! It will be very interesting to see how the experiment develops. I personally remain unconvinced of its total merits !! fishing for a bite

Easy.

Good point, well made Shaggy.
And that was 14 frames. . . Not the 10 that will be trialed in the summer.

We prefer to concentrate on getting flocks of players to our matches Wink

I trust you will have 7 for our match next week?

Seriously I think Gretal is out as am I, so that would be 7.

Saxton is playing one and officially unbeatable so put your best 6 from 2 onwards. Can't beat a bit of free advice.

We dont tend to change our team order very often if ever...... Nonetheless I am sure Tony will have some serious thinking to do when given that nugget of information.

Just a quick update .... 49 teams had been accepted on closing date ... since then we have had a further 3 teams submit applications & fees and have had 4 further phone calls from different teams enquiring to availability. There is a further window until Thursday 1st May so I would say at this time that it is 80% probable that a sixth division will be re-introduced for this summer.
