A match against our closest rivals of the last few years suggested a tight match was in store; especially with us big potatoes missing our biggest player (Gary Fearne). Naturally, we were all very tense and twitchy and somehow managed to pull off a shock win..... 9-1. On a serious note we had the luck on our side evil laugh

So for confirmation: Farley Big Spuds 9 - 1 Beechtreewhip

Chopper Squad 5 v 5 The Ship

We were 3-0 and 5-3 down, so we are happy to get a draw, just feel it's the second week where we might of and could have done a bit better.
Good win for the Big Spuds! should make The Eden sit up and take notice

Yep i'll agree with Jamie MC, luck was with you in a couple but theres no getting away from that beating being our biggest beating ever. Overall pretty sure you deserved the win.

score was 5-1 (from memory) and both refs disagreed on a marginal 'total snooker' - our ref stating it wasnt. in the interest of good sportsmanship i advised we were happy to let another player take a view. However, before we reached that judgement Mr Lion continued on the basis of no total. No big deal our end and i am sure we will be in for a closer match on the return....

I played the shot on no-total basis as the two refs were in disagreement, and i don't have much patience in any case. Heck thats in the past now and we've gotta focus on tonights game against the Chopper Squad.
