Does anyone think it's worth proposing for the current Doubles KO to be played to the Scotch Doubles format?

For those who are not familiar by what Scoth Doubles is, it's by where players play alternative shots instead of alternate visits . .

I'm sure you'll all agree that the current Doubles format is a load of wank and needs livening up a little . . Not only that but Scotch Doubles means both pairings have an equal involvement in the match instead of the situation whereby one person dictates everything that happens and has a 'puppet' for a partner . .

Definately. It's more fun and makes for a better game in which both players are more involved.

Yay! bouncing

Haven't we had this before? I'm still all for it.

Wanted to bring in a mixed scotch doubles too.

Shaggy was well up for it until I corrected him. . . .

"Scotch Doubles Shaggy.... Scotch Doubles.... Not Double Scotch"

He was most upset.

Yeah we had this a while back but I couldn't be arsed to look for it big grin

Mixed Doubles isn't too sad in idea either as long as cross team pairings are allowed . .

It's a definite improvement on the current format, which adds nothing to the game.

Mixed Doubles. . . .

We'd have to get about 200 more females signed to the league for starters.

I'm all for that.

To be fair, I've heard that Scott's new nickname is 'The Janitor' as he has to mop up the mess his partner leaves to get them through to the next round . . .

Saxton has just told me that Lenny Gillam is a fan of Scotch Doubles so for Chuckles to come on here and approve also it must have half a chance!

All we need now is for Pat Flynn and Jeff Martinez to come on here bigging it up and I'll pass out!

Bring it on. I think the Scotch Doubles is a much fairer way of playing doubles, as it was earlier posted, it cancels out the player and the puppet.
